For more than 35 years, High Times Cannabis Cup The events – often imitated but never duplicated – have showcased the best hemp and cannabis products on the planet. But like all People’s Choice events, Judge Kits is open to the public.
The High Times Cannabis Cup Illinois: People’s Choice Edition aims to identify and award the best cannabis products across Illinois, representing the many aspects of cannabis in a wide range of categories, to be judged by the great people of the Prairie State. This year, new concentrate and edible categories have been added to the mix to improve it.
The event will be the fourth ever competition open to the Illinois public and will feature one of the largest groups of judges in history. This is a sampler’s dream if you are a connoisseur of fine cannabis notes.
New Flower Products will counter what’s new in town in three categories, plus pre-made and unbaked rolls. But if your focus is what you’re looking for, you’ll come across solvent-free and solvent-free offerings as well as edibles, vape pens, sublingual tablets, capsules, and tinctures. Flowers and other products are judged on the aesthetics/visual appearance of the product, not the packaging, as well as scent/aroma, taste/flavor, combustibility, effects/potency, and Terpene profile.

Competitive product submissions will be accepted August 7-11 across Illinois. Judges simply login to Arbitration portal And select the appropriate event to start arbitration. The deadline for judging is October 22nd, and on November 5th, the winners will be announced via a digital awards show.
